No flying Saturday due to the crud (me and the weather :-(), but took the upper cowling off to look for a small oil leak. No joy on the oil leak. I suspect the right hand side oil return lines.
When I have the cowling off I always have a look at everything else. This time I was unpleasantly surprised by the classic cracking baffle. It started at and was emanating from one of the oil cooler attachment nutplates. I think I had it a bit too tight, and it must also have been digging into the baffle. Stop drilled the crack and I'll keep an eye it. I already have another idea for how to make a better fix.
